Server Rules

General Rules

• The rules don't include absolutely everything, just use common sense. All examples are "including but not limited to"
• If you are told to stop, you stop. Make an appeal or report if you disagree with a decision
• If you unintentionally break a rule, make an appeal and apologise, your ban will be reduced
• Don't be a dick to people. Being an 'edgy cool teenager' won't get you far on this server. You will be banned. Toxicity is not tolerated

Spawn Camping

• Spawn Killing as a human is not allowed, under no circumstances should humans be spawn killing zombies (Bots can be of slight exception where the map is larger)
• This extends to waiting for zombies to leave the spawn and/or shooting from afar
• Do not build cades that restrict zombies and confining them to their spawn (unless the map requires you to)

Respecting Others

• Do not discriminate, or share personal information without consent. No Abusing/Insulting/Harassing etc
• Friendly banter is fine, but must stop if it's going to far or the other person doesn't like it
• Don't play music when the jukebox is playing music. If you do play, it must be good quality and stop when requested
• Be helpful to people. If someone requires help don't troll them, you will be punished. We are all here to have a good time

NSFW/Shock/Illegal Content

• Minor NSFW Stuff can be posted but noted to players. A description for people to decide to open or not.
• Disgusting or Shock Content will result in harsh bans (determined by content)
• Child Porn (including drawn) or highly illegal content will result in a COMMUNITY ban

Human Players - Exploiting

• Cheating will result in an automatic or manual permanent ban. This includes abusing Gmod/source exploits with clientside scripts and convars
• Do not glitch. This includes going into no draw sections of the map (out of maps intentions)
• Do not use objects (arsenal, resupply etc) to trap and stuck zombies from moving.
• Nailing props to trap zombies is discouraged except in the instance when a cader is intensely trying to repair a cade with props

Human Players - Cading and Interferences

• The first person to a cading area is the person who has the first right to claim the area, make it clear by a chat message or message beacon
• Don't modify someone's cade/props without asking, and nailing your props down where needed
• Don't start prop claiming outside your area (with exception to craftable props) and in other people's areas
• Do not attempt to alter another person's cade without permission, your help will most likely not be wanted or needed if not asked for
• 'Building' stairs to aid humans is ok, but not build structures that aid zombies.
• Following the previous rule, if the only way to your location is through those props they must not be 'unnailed' to stop zombies getting to you. Once fast zombies are unlocked you can then unnail the props
• Do not break props without a good reason (unless like being stuck). Do not build cades to locations not intended on the map

Human Players - Skycading

• Fast Zombie Not Unlocked: Sky Cades must be accessible by normal zombies
• Fast Zombies Unlocked: Sky Cades must be accessible by normal OR fast zombies

All Players - Props Climbing

• No human is allowed to climb props by holding them. Humans should have props nailed if they are to use them as aid
• Zombies are not allowed to use props to throw themselves into the air where it can not be reached by simply jumping or reaching the location
• The Shade has the ability to throw props but must not use those props to assist other zombies to prop climb

Spam

• Don't spam posting the same or near idential thing repeatedly (including with groups)
• Don't spam in-game text or voice chat, you will be muted/gagged and if you continue will be banned
• Do not advertise servers that compete with our own.
• Don't spam jukebox with the same song, or abuse it. You will be banned from making requests

Additional Server Rules

• Do not attempt to use family sharing as a means of evading a ban. This will most likely move your ban to a permaban.
• Don't manipulate props or any other objects in order to just gain points. Point farming is not allowed
